Keep the arts accessible in Oklahoma.

Nearly $95M impact and growing since 1971

Your giving reaches more than 1 million Oklahomans by supporting more than 40 arts and cultural organizations benefitting the underserved.

the project

Your investment in Allied Arts provided critical resources to 48 unique arts and cultural nonprofits last year – the most in our 54- year history. You help support top-rate artistic programming, outreach into underserved and rural communities and arts education in disadvantaged schools - all in the effort to transform lives through the arts.

Children engaged in art activities are more likely to hold school leadership positions, volunteer in the community and have consistent school attendance.

The arts create jobs, boost tourism and attract new residents. The nonprofit arts industry generates $872.8M in economic activity statewide annually.

Strong arts programs revitalize neighborhoods and transform communities into thriving cultural hubs, reaching more than one million people in Oklahoma.

The nonprofit arts industry supports about 38,965 full-time equivalent jobs statewide.

the Supported Agencies
Allied Arts member agency Oklahoma Youth Orchestras (OKYO) serves a diverse student body of over 400 young musicians from across the metro, fostering creativity, teamwork and leadership through a strong commitment to excellence in music. OKYO provides special scholarships to ensure that young musicians can participate despite financial hardship.

Oklahoma Youth Orchestras

“Through being a part of OKYO, I have developed many essential skills as an ensemble player and many important relationships with my fellow musicians. I have also realized core leadership abilities and knowledge that have expanded to many other areas of my life. Overall, this opportunity has challenged me to put aside my personal considerations to strive to be the best for the betterment of the ensemble as a whole.”
